L. A. Starks is the author of the Lynn Dayton thriller series and an energy investor.
Born in Massachusetts, Starks grew up in Oklahoma, went to school in New Orleans and Chicago, and currently lives in Texas. She worked for well-known companies in energy marketing, planning, engineering and for over 14 years also managed an energy consulting and financial analysis firm – Starks Energy Economics.
Starks Energy Economics (SEE), LLC was an independent energy consulting and financial analysis firm founded in 2011 by Laura Starks. For fifteen years, SEE provided in-depth analysis, reporting, and industry insight focused on key segments and companies in the U.S. energy market.
The firm specialized in financial analysis of energy companies, offering investors and industry professionals clear, data-driven perspectives on both large, established operators and smaller, emerging companies.
